Account information. If you create an account, we store your email address, your name if you provide one, and a securely hashed version of your password. We never store your password in readable form.
Usage and device data. We automatically collect your IP address, approximate location derived from it (city / region / country), browser and device type (user agent), screen size, the page that referred you, campaign tags in the link you followed, and timestamps of your activity.
Identifiers. We store a random identifier in your browser (localStorage and sessionStorage) to recognize return visits and group your activity into sessions. These identifiers contain no personal details.

How we use information

To provide the service — generating answers to the questions you ask.
To operate accounts — signing you in and keeping your session active.
To understand usage — traffic, popular topics, and site performance in aggregate.
To protect the service — preventing abuse, fraud, and excessive use.

How your messages are processed

To generate answers, the text of your conversation is transmitted securely to the third-party artificial-intelligence infrastructure we use for processing. Only the conversation text needed to produce a response is sent — your account details are not. We recommend not including sensitive personal information (such as financial, health, or government-ID details) in your messages.

Location information

We estimate your approximate location (city level, never precise) from your IP address using a geolocation lookup service. Your IP address may be shared with that service solely for this purpose.

What we don't do

We do not sell your personal information.
We do not share your conversations with advertisers.
We do not use third-party advertising or tracking networks on this site.

Data retention

Activity records and conversations are retained for as long as needed to operate and improve the service. Account information is kept until you ask us to delete your account.

Security

Data is stored on our own server, protected from public access, with passwords hashed using modern algorithms. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, but we take reasonable measures appropriate to the nature of the data.

Children

This service is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them.

Your choices

You can use the chat without creating an account.
You can clear the identifiers we store by clearing your browser's site data.
You can request a copy or deletion of your account data by contacting us.
